This is why you dont sacrifice hardware for the sake of a low price. All it does is kill the quality of games and alienate ambitious (although somewhat pretentious) devs like Carmack here. Epic has said and and now Carmack is saying it again. Wii has been a step backwards for gaming and wii u will continue the trend if sucessful. No games benefit from good gameplay, controls, graphics, and presentation. Everything else is just an extraneous feature that distracts you from the actual game and cuts replay value. Thats why story driven games are shelved after one or two playthroughs. I wish games would stop pretending to be movies, it just hurts the lifetime replay value overall.
If a game presents itself badly, no amount of good gameplay can save it. Imagine a game with the best gameplay ever that revolved around a character who raped and cannibalised children. Would you consider that a good game?
Motion controls have been touted as traditional controller killers, but they are in no way in upgrade from my dualshock controller. They are are either laggy (kinect wiimote) or have annoying calibaration issues (move). If Wii U is any indication, motion controllers are going out the door with the next generation. The whole experiment has just been a waste of time that could have been spent making actual games. Controllers with buttons are not flawed in any way and people need to stop pretend...
It disturbs me that companies can go bankrupt making good games but these guys spend 10 bucks to make angry birds in 10 minutes and get billions from hipsters.

Very disappointed here. I wanted them to add DLC for higher level players. Once I dominated DS1 afer 3 playthroughs, the game became childs play. I hope they at least have better level scaling this time...
I know im going to get some heat for this, but weather this game comes to ps3 or not makes no difference to me. As far as RPGs go, this game is doing nothing new other than advertising in playboy and making drawn out R rated sex scenes. Its just relying too much on sex and not on innovating. With Skyrim coming out, I think this game will soon become very forgetable.

I thought this would be another Bayonetta when I first heard of it. Every screen was full of boobs and other sexual imagry so it seemed like it sold of that alone. After playing the demo, I saw that there was some pretty good voice acting, writing and clever puzzle games here. There is more to this than meets the eye for sure. Id say give it a try.
